SBA's 2012 National Small Business Week Features DC Firm Atlas Research

Washington, DC—The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) joined the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) today in celebrating the achievements of Atlas Research as part of the SBA's 2012 National Small Business Week. These awards celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of America's small businesses and their critical contributions to communities across the country.

"DC businesses epitomize the enterprising spirit and ingenuity celebrated by these awards," said DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) Director Harold Pettigrew. "We have partnered effectively with the SBA to connect our firms to business opportunities, support quick and effective navigation of government, and ensure that great ideas and plans meet the resources they need.  We are pleased to join the SBA again today to celebrate and support our businesses."

The National Small Business Week Conference, hosted by the SBA, has been recognizing the special impact made by outstanding American small businesses since 1963.  As part of the National Small Business Week Conference, the SBA recognizes the outstanding small businesses nationwide that make our communities great places to live. This year, Atlas Research received a District of Columbia state award.  Headed by Ryung Suh and Mark H. Chichester, Atlas Research is a health care consulting and research firm providing strategic advisory services to health systems leaders. DSLBD is proud to celebrate the successes of the District's small and local business community and acknowledge the accomplishments of the 2012 Award winners.
