DSLBD Notice of Public Hearing for Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District Recertification

DSLBD will hold a public hearing to determine whether to approve the request by the Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District (BID) to extend the term of the BID for another five years.

The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) will hold a public hearing to determine whether to approve the request by the Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District (BID) to extend the term of the BID for another 5 years. The current term of the Adams Morgan Partnership BID will expire September 30, 2011. If the request for extension is granted, the new term will expire on September 30, 2015.

Testimony Submission

Those who wish to present testimony are requested to contact Lincoln Lashley at [email protected] with the following information, no later than 12 noon on Monday, August 22, 2011: (a) the name of the person wishing to testify; (2) his/her company or affiliation; (c) his/her status as a commercial property owner, tenant, representative of an exempt property, resident, or private citizen; and (d) a phone number where he/she can be reached.

Application Review

Complete copies of the application will be available, effective Monday, August 22, 2011, for public review between the hours of 9:30 am and 5 pm. Monday through Friday at the Department of Small and Local Business Development (at Judiciary Square), 441 4th Street, NW, Suite 970N, Washington, DC. The recertification package will also be available at the Adams Morgan Partnership BID office between 9 am and 5 pm, effective August 22, 2011. The Adams Morgan Partnership BID office is located at 1804 Belmont Street, NW, Washington, DC.
