CBE Online Updates

Business application information for a CBE certification

FAST, QUICK AND EASY!

DSLBD has released our enhanced Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) online application system. Now, businesses will be able to upload the required checklist documents within their online CBE applications.

Please note : If you submitted an application before October 21st you must schedule an appointment with us by selecting here (One-on-One Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) Application Consultations).

Businesses submitting applications on or after the 21st are to upload the required checklist documents within the online application. Within each step of the certification, recertification and upgrade applications, there is an Upload Checklist Items link (in red color) that allows you to upload the required documents any time during the application process. You will not be able to submit the application until all the required documents are uploaded.

Effective November 1, 2013, the Department will no longer require one-on-one CBE application consultations. All checklist documents must be uploaded during the completion of an online application.

Should you have any questions or feedback during this transition, please contact us at cbe.feedback@dc.gov or call (202) 727-3900.
