Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Program

The small business technology transfer (STTR) program merges entrepreneurial talent of a small high- tech business with innovation of leading institutions and universities. With the goals of spurring economic growth and increasing competition, STTR finds innovative solutions by pairing talent and incentives to yield a product ready for commercialization.

The STTR program is phased similarly to the SBIR program, with awards not exceeding $100,000 for one year in phase I, and not exceeding $750,000 for two years in phase II.
