Trade Mission and Trade Project Support
ExportDC is helping small businesses minimize the time and cost of developing business in new international markets. Join an organized group market visit and receive a customized business itinerary that includes tailored one-to-one meetings with pre-screened potential customers and business partners. The group market visit agenda also includes country information sessions, travel and logistics support and industry sector briefings. Businesses that qualify for the DC State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) program will be eligible for financial support to offset the costs of eligible international marketing activities, including group market visits and individual sales trips.
For businesses that have export plans in place to market to countries outside ExportDC’s focus markets, an individual international sales trip may be arranged. Like a group market visit, an agenda will be prepared which includes tailored one-to-one meetings with pre-screened potential customers and business partners. Travel and logistics support will also be provided.
