Tina Roper
Administrative Officer
Tina Roper joined the Department of Small and Local Business Development in 2018 as the Administrative Officer. In this capacity, she is responsible for the agency’s operational planning and the overseeing the allocation of agency resources and coordination and monitoring of key processes, activities and issues.
Tina brings with her more than 17 years of local government service and a penchant for operations. Prior to joining the DSLBD team, Tina served as the special assistant to the deputy mayor for Health and Human Services where she coordinated office operations, managed the executive’s calendar, procured all goods and services, monitored contracts and provided human resource support.
Tina holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She also spent time at Howard University studying education and english. Tina also holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Trinity Washington University.
