DC Art All Night

Art All Night 2025 is a citywide celebration of the performing and visual arts. On September 12 and 13, DC will become the stage for a diverse showcase of local talent and creativity. The festival highlights the intersection of art and business across commercial corridors, placing artists and entrepreneurs at the heart of community celebration.

New this year, festival-goers can experience both Art All Night and Dine All Night through the first-ever Art All Night mobile application. Free to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, the app serves as a complete festival guide. Attendees can use it to discover nearby events, navigate neighborhoods with an interactive map, filter experiences by interest, build a personal schedule, and receive real-time updates. The app also features a 'Dine All Night' section, highlighting participating restaurants that offer extended hours, special menus, and unique dining experiences to complement the festival.

First presented as Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC in 2011 by Shaw Main Streets, the event drew more than 30,000 people to celebrate local culture. Over the following decade, the festival expanded to 19 neighborhoods in 2021, attracting more than 120,000 attendees from across the region.

Art All Night is a collaboration between the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH), the DC Public Library (DCPL), the DC Main Streets programs, and the city's Business Improvement Districts (BIDs). Each participating neighborhood plays a role in corridor revitalization by activating public spaces, highlighting local artists, attracting new visitors, and driving increased sales for small and local businesses.

The festival brings together visual and performing arts, including painting, photography, sculpture, crafts, fashion, music, dance, theater, film, and poetry. Indoor and outdoor venues—ranging from public spaces to local businesses and restaurants—will host a wide variety of activations. With the addition of Dine All Night, visitors can also enjoy the city's dynamic dining scene as restaurants extend hours and present menus that showcase DC's culinary creativity.
