Michael Jarosz is the Manager of Commercial Revitalization at the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development. Previously, he served as Manager of Government Relations at Main Street America, where he worked closely with a national network of 40+ state coordinating programs and more than 2,000 local Main Street organizations to advance policy, advocacy, and program development. Michael brings both professional and academic experience in urban planning, commercial corridor strategy, and place-based economic development.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Virginia, a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s in Urban & Regional Planning at Georgetown University, where his work focuses on data-informed approaches to commercial corridor revitalization.
