Bowser Administration Cuts the Ribbon on the First Black-owned Restaurant in Woodley Park

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Saturday, February 4th, at 1:00 PM, the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) will celebrate the ribbon cutting of Flavorture, the first Black-owned restaurant located in Woodley Park. 

 

Co-owned by Chefs Lew McAlister and Pinkey Reddick, Flavorture serves up top-notch cuisine with a bold taste. Both owners are chefs with a strong background in large government contracts and are experts at their craft. With customers appreciating their food and level of service, the Flavorture owners grew their respective businesses to include catering social events, corporate functions, individually packaged menu items, and now, expanding to curating private events for area professionals.
