Washington, DC—The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) joined the US Small Business Administration (SBA) today in celebrating the achievements of Atlas Research and EAB Creative Planning Services, LLC at the SBA’s 2012 Metro DC Small Business Awards. These awards celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of DC area small businesses as critical elements of the metropolitan DC area. Both 2012 winners are District of Columbia businesses.

Each year, the SBA recognizes outstanding small businesses nationwide that make our communities great places to live. This year, Atlas Research and EAB Creative Planning LLC, two District of Columbia businesses, received awards. Headed by Ryung Suh and Mark H. Chichester, Atlas Research is a health care consulting and research firm providing strategic advisory services to health systems leaders. EAB Creative Planning LLC’s CEO is Evelyn Bandoh, who helps creative entrepreneurs turn what they create and what they do into viable, sustainable, and successful businesses. DSLBD is proud to celebrate the successes of the District’s small and local business community and acknowledge the accomplishments of the 2012 Award winners.
