The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) is excited to announce that we will accept 2024 WeAspire Incubator Program applications.
The 2024 Aspire Incubator Program will support 20 DC residents who are returning citizens or justice-impacted individuals looking to start or grow a business. Participants in the Aspire Incubator Program will benefit from a community of support and up to $5,000 in stipends for successfully completing various business development milestones, covering planning, regulatory compliance, finance, and public speaking.

Eligibility Pre-review: Applicants who complete their application by February 9, 2024, will receive a courtesy review of their application for eligibility and completeness, with an option to correct it before the final deadline. This will be conducted on a rolling basis.
Questions Deadline: The deadline for a guaranteed response to questions is February 23, 2024, at 2 pm EST. Questions asked after this time can only be guaranteed a response after the application deadline.
Final deadline: The final deadline is March 1, 2024, at 2 pm. No applications will be accepted after this deadline. No exceptions.
