DSLBD Launches 12th Street NE Storefront Improvement Program

(Washington, DC) – The Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) has launched a second Storefront Improvement Program (SIP) along 12th Street NE in Brookland. The initial Brookland SIP was completed in 2009 and was designed to help business owners: increase customer foot traffic; improve sales; leverage private investment in commercial properties; and brand the 12th Street, NE commercial district as an attractive and safe shopping destination.
